Meaningful Monday -McKinney Nordic Ski Club

Meaningful Mondays is an innovative new way for charities, non-profits and community organizations in the South Okanagan and Boundary region to raise money and raise awareness while having a good time in the process.
On Monday March 4th we will be partnering with McKinney Nordic Ski Club to raise money for their organization.
For every lift ticket sold on Monday, March 4th, Baldy Mountain Resort will donate $2 to the McKinney Nordic Ski Club
.
So all you have to do to support a good cause is to come up skiing on a Monday. Not a bad deal eh? See you on the slopes!
About McKinney Nordic Ski Club
McKinney Nordic Ski Club offers 9 km of groomed nordic ski trails and 8 km of marked snowshoe trails, about 25 km east of Oliver. The club provides affordable winter fun (often in the sun!) to many local residents and visitors to the area. We also offer a ski school to local Grade 4 & 5’s from Oliver, Osoyoos and OK Falls, providing lessons to over 300 kids a year. All of this is done by volunteers from our small club. However our snow grooming machine is 47 yrs old and ready to retire. We are raising money to purchase a younger used snow groomer
Including support from the Town of Oliver, the Town of Osoyoos and the Regional District, they have already raised $12,000. Help them reach our goal of $25,000!
About Meaningful Mondays
Baldy Mountain Resort has set aside 5 Mondays this winter to help give back to the many great organizations, non-profits and charities in our region. These groups do amazing work for our region, and we want to recognize that by helping them raise money and awareness.
If you can’t make it up on the Monday, March 4th. Make sure to go buy a lift ticket on one of the other Meaningful Mondays.
