Volunteer Ski Patrol Open Day

The Canadian Volunteer Ski Patrol is hosting an “Open Day” at Baldy Mountain Resort on Feb 3rd. Come along and find out about becoming a Baldy Volunteer Patroller and register your interest for the 2018/19 season!
It will be a fun day of skiing and interacting with current patrol members, plus there’s a burger and hot dog lunch. We will hold at least one mock accident scene too. At the end of the day join us for a debrief and question time in the bar.
About being a volunteer patroller:
-All 1st aid training provided, which starts in September.
-You don’t need to be an expert level skier. We’re looking for community-minded people who enjoy working in a team environment
-Members must be able to volunteer 12 or so weekend days a season (approx 3 days a month)
-Full seasons pass to all members in their 1st year

Baldy also has a reciprocal relationship with Apex, allowing you to occasionally patrol there!
