Open Mic Nights

Come show the bar what you’ve got with Open Mic nights! Don’t want to perform? Then come out and see all the amazing talent the Baldy Community has to offer.
Solo and groups welcome.

Cannery Brewing Presents: Live music by Hilary and Dorian

Dorian and Hilary have been friends for decades. They make up half of the Baldy Band who played together for over a decade on the hill. Come out and listen to some Long John Baldy Favourites and some new acoustic numbers. It will be fun!

What is the Slackcountry Cup?
It’s a community based snowboard gathering meant to celebrate the culture with inclusive events for all types of riders. A Typical Slackcountry Cup weekend will feature a splitboard race, BANKED Slalom, slopestyle contest, and rail jam. spread over two days in March.
To be crowned the King or Queen, riders must endure all these events if they wish to drink a delicious Pabst Blue Ribbon from our Storied Cups.

DJ Dim Dimma is back for another killer DJ set for the first night of Slackcountry cup! Come on down and dance your heart out to some funky beats.
Pabst Blue Ribbon Presents: Live music by UCRA String Band
Date: Mar 15th | 3-5 pm | Baldy bar
UCRA Mountain String Band is a dynamic trio from Rossland, BC, blending bluegrass, folk, and rock into their own distinctive sound. Their music features heartfelt melodies and engaging rhythms, with Ian Johnston delivering powerful guitar work and soulful vocals. Dale Green brings energy to the stand-up bass and adds rich vocal harmonies, while Brian Taylor contributes intricate mandolin and guitar parts, enhancing the band’s overall texture.
Board Game Night in the Baldy Bar

Board game night returns in the Baldy Bar! Grab one of our games available for a fun filled evening. Want to play a different game? Feel free to bring your own, and maybe make some new friends!
Musical and Movie Karaoke night

Join us for a special themed karaoke night. Got a song from a musical or your favourite Disney movie that you’re just dying to sing? This is your chance to flex your skills to the whole mountain!

Naramata’s Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. is taking over the beer taps in the baldy bar! Try a variety of their beers in the bar. Flights available!
Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. Presents: Live music by Lewis Cardinal

Lewis is a seasoned musician from Wales, performing a wide variety hits from the 60s through to modern chart-toppers. With a soulful voice, skilled guitar work, and a huge repertoire, he’s always happy to take requests and tailor the night to the crowd.
Trivia Nights

Got a knack for trivia? Come on down to the Baldy Bar for one of 4 Trivia Nights, once a month, throughout the season!

Easter Egg Hunt
Date: April 4th, | 10 am | Roundhouse
Baldy’s annual Easter egg hunt is back once again for the kiddos! Meet at the roundhouse for a quick brief on the hunt. There will be eggs hidden around various runs on the ski hill and for the younger kids or for those who can’t confidently ski the slopes, there are a number of eggs hidden around the base area. There’s also the elusive golden egg! I wonder what you get if you find it?
Karaoke Nights
Dates: Mar 21st, Apr 4th & 18th | 7 pm | Baldy bar
Baldy’s most popular evening event is back for another season! Warm up those vocal chords and get ready for multiple nights of the South Okanagans best mountain karaoke.
Polar Ice Presents: BMR Slush Cup
Date: April 5th, | 1 pm | Base Area
Close out the last day of eagle chair with Baldy’s annual slush cup! Put on your best costume and try to make it across the pond!
Enjoy some funky beats around the base area from local DJ Scotty Dawg from 12:30-2:30pm

Say goodbye to the winter season with Baldy’s brand new tasting event featuring tents throughout the base area from a plethora of wineries, breweries and even a few restaurants. More details coming soon as we get closer to the event.
