Trivia Night

Valentines Day Sweetheart Snowshoe
Dates: Feb 14th | 6 pm | $50 per person
Have Valentines Day plans yet? Now you do! A guided snowshoe evening and a 3 course meal.
Start with a guided snowshoe through our nordic trails led by Baldy’s very own, Mel.
The starter of soup will be served around a fire with warm drinks down on the trails.
The main, dessert and a complimentary glass of wine will be served in the bar.

Sean is a local artist from Oliver. Come enjoy another great apres of music, family, and friends.
Highway 97 Brewing Co. Presents: Live music by Will Schlackl
Dates: Feb 20th & 21st | 7 pm | Baldy bar
Will is a long time music educator and has played in multiple local bands such as “The Thursday Night Jazz Band”, “Faculty”, the Jazz Trio
“Cube”, and “Fluxx”, which has performed as the house band for The Penticton Vees.
It is not uncommon to hear Roger Miller, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, with Guns and Roses and Metallica in the same set. You will
hear these influences in his original compositions. There is something for everyone at his show.
BC Snowboard Presents: Elleboard
Date: Feb 21st
Elleboard – A gathering of women and gender diverse shredders that encourages, inspires & shines a light on how much fun can be had on a snowboard in a safe and supportive group dynamic. Multiple skill levels, abilities, and skill sets encouraged and welcome to join in for a fun day of boarding.
Program Goals: Have fun / Improve your riding / Connect with fellow boarders / Encourage others/ Make some noise
Note skill requirements:
*the participant can load and unload the chairlift unassisted
*the participant can link heelside and toeside turns

BC Snowboard Presents: Grom Series
Date: Feb 22nd
The Grom Series Jam is a grassroots event for young snowboarders 7-12. It combines the basics of our sport with fun competition, getting participants pumped on the snowboard community and opening them up to all the possibilities boarding can offer. Participants will have the chance to showcase their skills in an afternoon park jam after a morning of freeriding coached by BC Snowboard certified coaches.
Program Goals: have fun/ build confidence/ progress/ make friends/ meet coaches
Note skill requirements:

Highway 97 Brewing Co. Presents: Live music by Hilary & Joan
Dates: Feb 22nd | 3-5 pm | Baldy bar
Joan and Hilary have been friends for decades and have played music together in many forms throughout that time. Both are multi instrumentalists and enjoy playing folk music as well as covers and some original tunes. Penny Burnette, another local will join us on bass. Looking forward to an entertaining afternoon.

Open Mic Nights

Come show the bar what you’ve got with Open Mic nights! Don’t want to perform? Then come out and see all the amazing talent the Baldy Community has to offer.

12th Annual Slackcountry Cup
March 14 – 15 | 9 am – 4 pm | Baldy Mountain Lodge

What is the Slackcountry Cup?
It’s a community based snowboard gathering meant to celebrate the culture with inclusive events for all types of riders. A Typical Slackcountry Cup weekend will feature a splitboard race, BANKED Slalom, slopestyle contest, and rail jam. spread over two days in March.
To be crowned the King or Queen, riders must endure all these events if they wish to drink a delicious Pabst Blue Ribbon from our Storied Cups.
