Justin Koshman is a singer songwriter based out of OK Falls British Columbia. He blends folk music and a splash of beach rock blues to every set. You can find him playing throughout B.C. either in markets , wineries, or pubs telling stories and singing original tunes .

Itching to dance? Come up to the Baldy Bar and get moving with a FREE line dancing clinic from Baldy staff member, Georgia who’s a seasoned line dancer. Learn some new moves or come just to get dancing! Bonus points if you wear cowboy boots.

RnR is Rod kitt and Ron Rachinski; Two guys who grew up in the same neighbourhood, in the same prairie town, then ended up decades later being in the sunny Okanagan. Music trending towards canadiana and covers of classic rock, pop and country.

Brooklyn Rae is a small-town girl who brings big energy to every stage she steps on. With a love for classic rock, country, and the stories she spins into her own original songs, she mixes nostalgia with fresh, feel-good charm. Her shows are a blend of toe-tapping favorites, sing-along moments, and heartfelt originals.

Full of personality, and never afraid to have a little fun, she turns every performance into a good-time gathering.

Start with a guided snowshoe through our nordic trails led by Baldy’s very own, Mel.
The starter of soup will be served around a fire with warm drinks down on the trails.
The main, dessert and a complimentary glass of wine will be served in the bar.

Will is a long time music educator and has played in multiple local bands such as “The Thursday Night Jazz Band”, “Faculty”, the Jazz Trio
“Cube”, and “Fluxx”, which has performed as the house band for The Penticton Vees.

It is not uncommon to hear Roger Miller, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, with Guns and Roses and Metallica in the same set. You will
hear these influences in his original compositions. There is something for everyone at his show.

Elleboard – A gathering of women and gender diverse shredders that encourages, inspires & shines a light on how much fun can be had on a snowboard in a safe and supportive group dynamic. Multiple skill levels, abilities, and skill sets encouraged and welcome to join in for a fun day of boarding.

Program Goals:   Have fun / Improve your riding / Connect with fellow boarders / Encourage others/ Make some noise

*the participant can load and unload the chairlift unassisted
*the participant can link heelside and toeside turns

The Grom Series Jam is a grassroots event for young snowboarders 7-12. It combines the basics of our sport with fun competition, getting participants pumped on the snowboard community and opening them up to all the possibilities boarding can offer. Participants will have the chance to showcase their skills in an afternoon park jam after a morning of freeriding coached by BC Snowboard certified coaches.

Program Goals:  have fun/ build confidence/ progress/ make friends/ meet coaches

What is the Slackcountry Cup?

It’s a community based snowboard gathering meant to celebrate the culture with inclusive events for all types of riders. A Typical Slackcountry Cup weekend will feature a splitboard race, BANKED Slalom, slopestyle contest, and rail jam. spread over two days in March.

To be crowned the King or Queen, riders must endure all these events if they wish to drink a delicious Pabst Blue Ribbon from our Storied Cups.
